EVENT HIRE FAQs

What are your payment terms?
I ask for a 50% deposit to confirm your date, and the balance in full 30 days prior. Bookings within 30 days will need to be paid in full.
How do I book?
Fill in the booking form for a quote or to request your date. You will find me on other event websites, but you get the best price when you book direct.
Can you serve it in my containers?
Of course! I like using my homemade pottery at home, so if you have something special you want to serve it in, it’s fine with me!
How do you serve your gelato?
I can serve two scoops of gelati in a biodegradable or compostable tub, or vegan cone. New toppings and syrups are also coming soon!
I have guests coming with allergens. Where can I see what is in your gelato?
My best-selling flavours are here with the allergens marked against each. I have a recommended range, but I want you to have the perfect day, so I will work with you to get the menu right. If you need me to bring gluten-free cones I can do that too.
Can I have a different flavour?
Maybe you want the flavour of your wedding cake, a childhood favourite sweet or a Ruby Anniversary red velvet? No problem, let’s talk!
Is your coconut gelato made with oat milk?
No, I use coconut milk for that one. It would be rude not to!
Do you sell sorbet?
I do! I make it with 100% fruit (and water, not oat milk).
I don’t know what I need or how many vehicles!
No problem! Tell me about your special event and how you want it to run, and I can advise. When your guests are happy, so am I. I can bring up to 7 flavours and serve 120 guests in two hours. I will recommend the 7 flavours, but we can work together on that. I can set up and pack up in less than an hour.
Where have you been before?
All over London! The company used to be called Virtu Desserts, and now it’s just as virtuous but way more Chill! You might have seen me at the boat race in Putney, Covent Garden Ice Cream Festival, Fantastic Food Festival, Portobello Market…
What if it rains?
Don’t worry about the weather! Though I am Italian, I’ve enjoyed the Great British summer my whole life! I bring a 3m x 3m gazebo to all of my events so, rain or shine, I keep calm and scoop on.
What kind of events can you cater?
You name it: I can do it! The great thing about having a mini fleet of vehicles means I can match the right style and size to your occasion and budget. From cinema screenings to food festivals, and weddings to bar mitzvahs, corporate parties, birthdays, anniversaries and even PR events.
